A NOTE FROM OUR PASTOR -
The Mission is Pentecostal by tradition and was founded in 1960 by Rev. Miguel and Lupe
Canales, our pastor's parents. "He says, we have had humble beginnings. For close to 50 years
we have grown from 15 to over 3,000 people. We enjoy our call to serve as a regional church
strategically located in the heart of South Bay, near all the major Southland Freeways.
Testimonials from friends and family call us a loving family church where just about everyone
feels welcome especially blended families."

PASTOR'S NOTES:
3-09-08
Beloved,
"Therefore if any man is in Christ, he is new creature, the old things
have passed away, behold, new things have come." (II Cor. 5:19.)
It is hard to recognize someone after an extreme makeover. They
are a new creation, a new person, new eating habits, new clothes,
new haircut, new shoes, a new self. They feel better, think better,
look better. Something similar takes place with spiritual renewal.
When we lose the added weight of a bad past, ugly habits, excess
sin, a destructive attitude, we become a new self. There comes a
time when you just need to stop all the mess and invite Christ to
help you remake your self. Implement your spiritual resources.
Take a deep breath, a hard look at your old self. Do you still want to
be that? Start the journey to a new self. You can bury your old self
never to be that person again. With the help of the Holy Spirit.
Christ can give you a brand new life today and you can start
becoming the new creation St. Paul mentions above. (II Cor. 5: 19).
In Christ,
Pastor Isaac
